SENECIO PTEROPHORUS

Senecio pterophorus sounds akin to a species of dinosaur, instead it is a flower commonly found growing along road sides. The Eastern Cape veld is brightened up by these clusters of yellow flowers at the moment.

  1. There are very few thing in life as beautiful as a patch of veld flowers along the road or hiking trail. I grew up in Namaqualand (the wildflower paradise) and my appreciation for wild flowers has never waned.
