  1. Wonderful set, Anne! I love rainbows, and croissants… they really look mouthwateringly delicious. πŸ™‚ The succulent is Agave, possibly A. parryi, or Artichoke Agave. It looks really thirsty as it is tightly closed, hope it gets a drink soon. πŸ™‚

    • Thank you for this identification, Eliza. Not many Agave are illustrated in the books I have and I simply didn’t recognise this tightly bunched specimen. This must be its defence mechanism against the drought.
