Here is a selection of natural patterns observed during the past few weeks:

Spider web in an aloe.

A meeting of the wakes of waterfowl.

Sunlight showing up the veins in the ears of a Scrub Hare.

Rock bands – the silent variety.

Stones washed after rain.

Something that is still a welcome phenomenon here: signs of flowing water next to the road.

  1. I enjoyed seeing all of these warm weather photos. The ponds here a freezing. There won’t be many wakes to see around here until it thaws some. Love the hare ears and that fluffy tail.

  2. I like the photos as well as the captions Anne. I am always amazed at the shell pink ears of a rabbit or hare when the sunlight hits them and they are translucent looking. The waterfowl and the wakes was my favorite shot.
