  1. What a beautiful animal. The first time I went on safari (in the Kruger) the guide told us that these were called ‘Grey Ghosts’ because they were often very shy. Clearly not this one, though!

    • That may be the case in Kruger, but we frequently see them out in the open in the Addo Elephant National Park where they seldom run away from vehicles that approach them slowly.

  3. Very nice-looking creature and I am reminded of waves looking at it – the horns are wavy looking how they twist and turn and the back is similarly looking like a wave.
